I'm flying with my dog tomorrow, any suggestions?
I've never flown with an animal before. He is riding with me and not underneath the plane. ( THANK GOD! ) But the thing is, it's gonna be a long flight from Portland to Dallas with one layover in Denver. The layover is an hour long, so I don't think that's long enough for me to take my dog outside and potty cuz then I'd have to go back through security and all that. My dog has a tendency to get very ill while riding in a car, so I have no doubt he will throw up in the plane. What should I give him food wise? How much water? Give me any and all suggestions please!

To begin with why not put him up for the trip unless your not coming back.???? Why put him thru the stress.? You already said he will throw up. Make sure he has plenty of dry beding and a water cup when you go to check in. I would not feed him put he needs water at least. Once again just put him up and when you get back he will be happy you did...Get it..?? I see this all the time and most cases it does not have a happy out come....
