would it cost for a flight from portland OR to san diego CA? estimates are fine. we would prob be going on a normal weekedn for just a couple days ... nothing like summer vacation or spring break.

I would check Southwest because they generally have the cheapest flights. From Portland to San Diego could be as low at $89 one way (so $178 roundtrip).

Go to www.sidestep.com....... that website runs side by side comparisons of ALL the major carriers (except for Southwest Airlines) AND compares also the "cost competitive travel sites" Orbitz, Travelocity, Cheapo air fare, Priceline. Hands down the best way to find the cheapest deal. Search on sidestep, then look at Southwest's website. You will find the best deal through that process and it only takes about 3 minutes :) Good luck and enjoy your trip.
