can a 14 year old travel alone in an international flight?
im 14 wanting to go to mexico this summer i would go from portland to mexico city is there an airline that makes these kinds of flights that would let me travel alone? if yes which one and is there an extra charge?

Yes, but you have to have somebody waiting for you at the airport in mexico. The airlines would give you an aid.

Continental, American, US Air, and Alaska have decent flights from Portland to Mexico City. Alaska Air has one flight that does not require a plane change. All of these carriers will let you fly alone without an extra charge. Don't forget that you will need a passport to make this trip, and that it takes about 6 weeks to get one.
