Do i need a passport to go from Portland OR to Wichita Falls TX?
we are moving to Wichita Falls TX and figured we'd simply fly there but i'm not sure what is needed. it's not something I've really looked into before. never had to. but now i'm not sure what exactly is needed to fly. i thought i would need a passport but it's not an international flight so i'm OK there. is there anything else i would need to buy one round plane tickets for 2 adults, a teenager and an infant? Also, anyone know an estimated price of how much the tickets would come out to be?

If you fly airtran, it won't be that expensive...and no, no passport. Just a valid ID to buy the tickets. You can call the airlines and ask. They usually don't charge for information. Check around at the airports for costs. If you buy in advance, it will be cheaper than last-minute tickets. I think it might be cheaper to just rent a car and drive there, especially since it could be upwards of 500 for each ticket to fly.

A driver's license, or a non-driver ID card issued by the state is sufficient ID to get on a plane for a domestic flight within the US.
