Portland to Chicago R/T Flights. What Airline? Cheapest Fare? August trip.?
I am planning to fly to Chicago to be in a wedding in August. I live in Portland and the wedding is in Chicago. I will be looking for deal between now and then. I am on a buget so price is my main concern. Any tips on airlines to fly with that commonly make this trip? Deals etc. All suggestions Welcome. Thank you.

Southwest. It's often quite cheap, may have no stops, has multiple flights, and goes to Midway, Chicago's less busy airport.

agree on Southwest.....at least two flights a day each way non stop to Chicago....check it out NOW....SWA has around a 4 month window for advance booking....right now you can get a roundtrip in August for $278...nonstop....but you will have to move pretty quick... Another choice is to register at SWA for advance notice on sales, but Chicago / Portland isn't a real popular trip so they are pretty few and far between for that trip.... do check it out...and maybe come a day or so early....enjoy our BEAUTIFUL city....
