It looks much cheaper to do this but I'm worried about my return leg getting canceled if I don't take the first flight. I am trying to get to Portland from Morocco one way but most deals are only for round trip tickets.

If you don't show and board for the first part of your ticket, they will cancel the remainder.

Diesel is right. If you don't show up for the first leg of a round-trip, they cancel the entire itinerary.

Yes they will/can cancel.What u can do is buy the other way,so use the first leg and forget about the second one. Still not legal enough. another advise for u my firned. do NOT think of marrying a moroccan woman if that is what ur itention for going to moroco is. we are moslums in morocco and do not accept westerns coming non-moslums and entering our houses.
