Good luck. Given that fuel for a Cessna 150 costs about $25 per engine hour, and the fraction of required maintenance expense (engine overhaul, oil, tires, frame wear and tear) is about $40 per hour, you're asking for quite a big donation of expenses. That said, you'll might find someone who will take you up a time or two, but you can't get a pilot's license that way. Go ahead and buy and study a ground school textbook. You can learn about the physics of flying, federal regulations, weather, engine theory, airframe basics, standard aerial maneuvers, types of airspace, airport operations, radio fundamentals, instrumentation, avionics, flight controls, navigation, night operations, airport lighting, etc., etc. To obtain a pilots license, you'll have to take a written test which covers the ground school material. You'll also have to fly quite a bit with a certified flight instructor—not just a pilot, but a pilot with certification to teach practical flying skills. There is a minimum of 20 engine hours with an instructor (most students need more), and 20 hours solo under direct instructor supervision. There's no way to get around the approximately $6000 the primary flight instruction will cost. Maybe a little less ($5000) if you fly often (3+ times per week) and learn fast, but probably a lot more ($10,000) if you can't fly at least once per week.
