I need the details for a story I'm writing. Sadly, I have only ridden a plan only twice in my life and all of it never strays from my home country. Can you help please? The travel is from BOS to PDX.

Knowing that on on a east-to-west-coast (California to Georgia) flight many, many, many, many, many times.... I'd say it can take anywere from 3 and a half to 4 hours.

Oregon? No way! I love it there! Lucky! Sorry. Ehm.... your flight should last about 5 hours P.S. I've gone from BOS to PDX before about 3 months ago, so I do know.

About 6.5 hours if it's non-stop. Also, if you want to be more accurate, just check some of the travel sites to see what flights are available. They should tell you flight time

Hmm. I don't even know if there is a direct flight from Boston to Portland. I fly from Orlando(MCO) to PDX all the time. It takes 7-8 hours or so, with a layover in either ATL or SLC. Just plugging it into Orbitz.com is what I am doing now. Looks like a non-stop on Alaska Air is 6.5 hours. Add 1-3 hours if you decide to go with a layover. Don't forget the timezone change, too.
